A Hopper Magnet is a permanent magnetic separator installed inside hoppers, bins, chutes, silos, and gravity feed systems to remove ferrous contaminants from dry free-flowing materials. It consists of high-intensity magnetic tubes or magnetic grids enclosed within a durable stainless-steel frame.

As materials pass through the magnetic field, iron particles are attracted and retained on the magnetic tubes, allowing only clean product to continue through the process.
